Would like to hear everyone's opinion on this...
Personally I'm not a fan of this 'revolution' as I think their overall outlook and attitude is idiotic and makes bodybuilding seem like it's all about drugs (*cough* steroids) and being an absolute douche.

Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous now.
Bodybuilders are taking large amounts of synthetic hormones (steroids) to make up for poor training and bad genetics and they're getting huge because of it.
I personally prefered the old days, but then again there was still people who took it too far like Andreas Mnzer and died because of it. Arnold still took a ton of gear but he didn't abuse it.
It's gives a terrible outlook on steroids too, now they're illegal in a lot of countries when they shouldn't be. They're not addicitve, don't cause harm to anyone else and they're hormones not drugs. People who don't train just don't like the idea of someone being that huge because it shouldn't be naturally possible. If used correctly, they're completely harmless and very healthy.

Exactly that man, and the fact that people with extremely poor genetics are abusing steroids that badly make it 100% harder for a natural bodybuilder with good genetics to get recognized. I've heard mixed things about steroids but from what I've heard they're okay to take in moderation and the only symptom would be so called 'roid rage'. The old days were definitely not as ridiculous as now, at least then a majority of steroid users wouldn't be incredibly stupid with them.

I think your title isn't fitting. "Aesthetic" bodybuilders? That's all bodybuilders. New-wave meat heads are what you hate.
Truthfully there's no attitude difference between Arnold S./Frank Z. compared to Zyzz S./Jeff S. of today? All arrogant and cocky in some way, yet all hard working and aesthetic. RIP Zyzz, all of which ran gear or do still.

I'm talking about the arrogant tren-heads that use the term aesthetics, I hardly think arnold's attitude was to sleep with as many girls as possible, drink excessive alcohol and snort cocaine all night; otherwise he wouldn't have been as successful as he is. Also Zyzz was no different in some aspects but I believe he was the only one who truly wanted to change people for the better.

What narcotics people choose to take in their personal life has nothing to do with steroids or anything like that. The fact you even choose to bring that into the equation is pointless.
Don't be narrow minded.

That made no sense. I didn't say steroids had any correlation with the drugs these people take, I just said certain 'aesthetic bodybuilders' take a lot of drugs and have a serious attitude problem.
Don't be so narrow minded.

Anything can become addictive. They're not addictive drugs though, it's not like street drugs where you take them once and the only thing that you can think about is getting more or how you can get them. It takes up to two weeks for most of them to kick in anyway.
There's nothing in steroids that make them an addictive substance, people just want to use them because they enjoy building large amounts of muscle and prefer doing it quickly rather than slowly.
It's like saying that fat people are addicted to food, they're not really. They've just became accustomed to eating it and they'd prefer to eat fast food instead of normal food and it's very easy to make them eat healthy again.
