iPad video playback bar problem

So it the bar shows as if the videos loaded/buffered but it actually isn't. It only looks like this in full screen and without it the bar seems fine and I can see how much is loaded but can't in full screen. Had this problem for ages and can't seem to fix it.

hmm, is it the devices stock media player? If so try clearing the cache, it may do something if not. I personally would just look for an alternative native media player :p
If it is website based, likely it could just be that the media player doesn't support well.
There are a few ways to test the theory above, by using different services via the desktop version on your iPad. Such as youtube, openelec etc
It really just sounds buggy and a cache clear usually helps that on iOS i've seemed to notice.

Actually this only happens in Safari. I haven't used any other browsers. YouTube full screen seems to work fine.
