Its not just for gaming. I create films as a hobby so will need it for rendering them too as well as gaming
Built an i7 System for mostly gaming but i do a lot of 3D Renders and Motion Graphics and it works flawlessly. Though a i5 Will be good, If your doing heavy intensive renders, Go with an i7.
