A Short Summary of The Server:

What is Shardz Server?

Shardz Server is going to be a private PvPvE server on the Xbox One, with constant Admin oversight and support.

Why Choose Us?

We are extremely dedicated to this server and plan to support it for as long as possible.
Our admins are online 24/7, around the clock and are relatively polite, easy-going people.
We don't allow complete base wipes or passive Dino kills, and our staff team is always on the spot when an incident has arrived. We are always here to help.

What About The Admins?

Our team of admins is comprised of a group of 7 people, with one server host and 3 main community managers. Admins are guaranteed to be fair with any situation in the server and will always hold an unbiased position when handling anything. Our admins are online 24/7 and always there to help, but will also act like a normal tribe in the server, not spawn anything unless in an event, and will participate in the server as if a normal community member.
By no means will any Admins have the upper hand over any other tribe in the server, aside the start of the map, where spawning items is needed to set everything up for the servers future community events.

Server Rates:
These are still being figured out and we would love to hear your advice for potential future rates, as we are currently deciding on possibly a 1.0x rating for everything general, but around about 2.0x for taming and breeding.

Priority Rules:

DO NOT lie to an admin about any incidents you report.
DO NOT needlessly ask for constant aid from an admin. Only ask for aid from an admin when you truly need it.
ABSOLUTELY NO TRIBE-WIPING.
No destroying, or stealing from community event centers.
South Tropical Island Is PvE ONLY and nothing else.
If you get raided, or stolen from, cheated out of a trade, or item, etc; DO NOT complain to the admins.
Blocking caves or major resource spawns will not be tolerated.
No excessive structure spamming to claim land for your tribe.
No killing passive Dinos, only neutral and aggressive ones.
No building on South Tropical Island!

Misc. Rules:

Killing new tribes is not against the rules, but might be frowned upon and result in becoming enemies with other tribes.
Permanent caging is allowed, but may also be frowned upon.
No disobeying event rules.
No PvP while at events, unless stated otherwise.
No spamming the in-game chat.

(Our punishment system follows a tier-based infraction system, which- while subject to change over time- distributes the severity of each rule infraction over some easy-to-understand tiers of severity.)



(Level 1 infractions are entry-level crimes, which hold the most lenient early punishments for users who break the specified rules.)

Spamming the in-game chat will result in 2 early warnings, followed by a temporary kick from the server, then a temporary ban, or permanent ban.
Spamming messages to server admins/host will result in 2 early warning, then a temporary ban to communications to the admins/host, followed by a perma-ban to contacting any admins for the server.
Asking continuously for help from an admin for a non-issue (e.g; being raided) will result in 3 early warnings, then a temporary ban from communicating with admins, followed by a permanent ban for continuous, repeat offenders.
Disobeying even rules will quickly result in a single warning, then a temporary ban from future events, followed by a permanent ban from future server events.

(Level 2 infractions are mid-level crimes, which hold a more lenient early punishment, but are swiftly followed by ones much harsher sooner than that of a level 1 infraction.)

PvPing without permission at South Tropical Island will result in a swift, full weapon strip, and repeat offenders will be given a few day ban, followed by a permanent ban for ongoing repeat offenders.
Tampering with events will result in an indefinite removal from the events for 1 month, and a repeat offenders will be perma-banned.
Destruction of event property will result in a single warning, followed by a temporary ban, then an indefinite perma-ban.
Prop Spamming, and blocking off entrances to major resources areas and caves will result in the staff team warning you once, along with removing all the props that very been placed. Repeat offences will result in an immediate ban for multiple days, followed by a perma-ban for return-offenders after the original ban has been lifted.
Lying to an admin will result in a month with no admin support for you, or your tribe, followed by a temporary, then permanent ban to admin communications after.
Building on South Tropical Island without admin permission well result in a single warning, then two temporary bans, followed by a perma-ban for repeat-offenders.

(Level 3 infractions are high-profile crimes, which hold the most harsh immediate punishments available for users who break the specified rules.)

Building inside caves, or on top of resource spawns will immediately result in a single temporary ban, followed by a perma-ban.
Wiping an entire tribe will result in an immediate temporary ban from the start, followed by a perma-ban for any repeat offenders.
Killing passive dinos for your own pleasure will result in an immediate kick, and any repeated offenses will result in either a temporary, or perma-ban.

(All temporary ban durations will be decided on the spot and are subject to change with any added nuance to an issue.)

What's the server hosts Gamertag?

The server host GT is Shardz Server. To gain access to the server, be sure to add that account!

Are the admins abusive?

No. On average, none of our admins are abusive. Though, if you notice an admins abusing their power, be sure to report them and we will remove them.

What's the map on?

Currently, its on The Center.

Whats the server mode?

PvPvE.

What's the connection like?

The server is located in the state of South Carolina, USA. So, we are the in between for UK players and west coast players, you should still get relatively good ping out that far, since we have pretty good overall internet.

Are imports allowed?

No, no imports are allowed, to make this server fair for all users.

How often is the server up?

We plan to have it up 24/7 and only have it go down for maintenance and updates. There will always be multiple warnings before the server goes down for any reason.

Are there starter packs?

Not currently, there aren't.

Is there a specified age requirement to be able to join the server?

No, anyone of any age can join -- though, wed prefer it if the users joining were at least above 14.

Is it going to use the Scorched Earth DLC?

For Events, possibly. But, otherwise; no, we don't intend to use the Scorched Earth DLC with our server regularly.
