Have you thought about getting curved monitors?
I'm currently saving up for 2 curved monitors, I was looking at these [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
But might end up getting a different curved monitor.
Thanks homie!
Hmm, not really a fan of curved monitors tbh!

Ultrawides are good if you don't need 2 monitors, maybe 1 big ultrawide will do you perfectly?

I quite like multiple monitors as I can watch a film or a tv show while gaming and have reddit or something open too! I was thinking of putting the ultrawide in the middle. Or getting a 27" and putting the other 2 monitors in portrait.

Yea I feel you, I like to tab out when gaming too. I always thought portrait setups looked odd unless you know how to pull it off.
Whatever you like though, I'm sure it'll be sick.

I'll have to see what I can do closer to the time i want to upgrade, taking into account what my budget will allow me to get!

What GPU are you using? What do you use your system for? What's your budget and currency? What 2 monitors are you using right now? Could use some more info to suggest the best option for you.
I personally use an LG ultrawide and an AOC 16:9 on the side. I've gone through loads of monitor set ups. I used 3 x 1080p TN for a while, then bought a 1080P IPS display and refuse to use TN since that day lol. Went to a 3 x 1080p display with IPS monitors. Got bored of it so sold a monitor and just ran two. One monitor broke so I just used one for a while but I need more than one monitor so I had to get something new to use with my AOC monitor. I planned on going 1440p, but got an ultrawide for a great price and am so glad I went with it, ultrawide is fantastic. I kind of don't even want a 4k upgrade at any point now, just a better ultrawide lol. So, I'd definitely recommend an ultrawide monitor but only if you're actually going to benefit from it, there could be a better option for you though.
