Honestly Christmas as an adult just makes me reminisce and remember when I was a child, how much I miss my family I guess. But at the same time New Years now I don't remember the next morning so idk.

I'm 16 and I still love it. Hell, I'll probably still love it even when I'm 18+.

Could not agree more

Just wish school actually teaches you about "the big bad world" before we leave.

Like what tax is, what mortgage is etc.....

But no we get taught about algebra etc...

Baffles me lol

When I was younger I'd go to a Santa's grotto with my aunt and uncle. They would take me Christmas shopping for clothes and my other family would go to a Christmas market and family meal.

Now that I've grown up some of my family has drifted apart and people don't seem as interested anymore.

I'm at the age now where I don't mind what presents I have and I'm fortunate my mother's side of the family have asked us to visit them this Christmas. I prefer spending time with people over gifts unlike when I was younger. I appreciate family a lot more but they aren't around as much which sucks.

Christmas has changed for me over the years, but in such a good way. I'm 21 going on 22.

To me its all about family now b/c I'm away at college 8 months out of the year 7 hours away. My family is large and I have 6 little cousins who are all under the age of 10 and there is nothing cooler then seeing them get hyped for Christmas.

I could care less about presents now a days. Its all about just being around my family as much as possible during such great time of year.

Growing up definitely sucks for certain things but it's also has its benefits. I just try to enjoy and holiday now because the years fly by so fast now and you don't know how many more you will have with your loved ones.
