i am locked out of my email account, i rang up microsoft and they said they cannot help me unless i pay them $150 for a new security update because my email account has been hacked, then when i said i don't want to do that they hung up the phone

Weird, definitely sounds like a scam to me!

yep i must of rang the wrong number, i looked up microsoft australia number and it came up.
