So I am going to be going to the gym once I go and buy a pass for it and I don't have any workout shoes... the only thing close to workout shoes that I have are LeBrons... can I use those to workout or should those just stay on the basketball court?

You can definitely wear your LeBrons but I would recommend getting some cheap tennis shoes when you can. Pm me if you have any more questions

Yeah they're fine. Idk which LeBron's you have, but if you're running you need a good pair of running shoes. Lifting weights don't really require a certain type of shoe although if you're doing leg excersizes, you might want some shoes that are flat-footed if that makes any sense.
I personally have a set of basketball shoes (KD 6s) and a set of running shoes for whenever I'm lifting or running.

What I tell people when I'm training them is to just wear comfortable shoes with an arch.

You can wear whatever shoes you want at the gym. Hell, I've worn my socks before when I forgot my trainers and they didn't mind.
Unless you're doing specific leg exercises or running then it doesn't really matter what shoes you're wearing. I'd recommend flat shoes like converse or even weightlifting shoes if you want to go that extra step further.
I assume that it's your first time going to the gym, just take it easy with the weights and try to get the right form and you'll be fine.
