So I made a post a few months ago on here requesting a build. The build was for $2000 but I spent a little more on perifs. We are going to focus on the actual PC as some perifs are not shipped here yet.
I got a few responses but I then took my request via PMs to 13.
He shot me a list. Here is the list.
Though I have no clue on what PC building is like (As I have always owned a laptop) I wanted to accept this challenge. I bought piece by piece when I had the chance. I got some in gifts and some on my own. Yesterday I went to microcenter to buy the last 3 components. CPU, Cooler and SSD.
Rushed home at 2pm and started building around 3. Now I have never built a PC in my life so I had no clue what goes first and what to do. So, I called my buddy IP on skype and used my webcam so he could guide me through. 10 hours later (Because I am such a noob). I finished.
Here is the final build.
Thanks to the 2 guys who helped me out.

i7 and 16GB RAM will let you handle pretty much anything you want very well. GTX 1070 is great, will be plenty for gaming at 1440p 144Hz, 4k, or 3440x1440. SLI support so you can add a 2nd GTX 1070 at any point, and SLI 1070s will be more than plenty for any monitors you throw at it. Strix GTX 1070 is beautiful with a nice backplate and RGB LEDs. Included an NZXT Hue+ for you. Not too sure what you'd prefer to do with monitors, but I included an ultrawide for your center monitor, and two 1080p to use on the side. Nice big SSD for your OS, games and what not, and an HDD for media and other such things. Nice case, if you want something prettier, Enthoo EVOLV ATX would be a good shout(my favourite case on the market).
For case fans, I'd personally get these;

though, they are very expensive, so these would do the job if you wanted something cheaper;

For fan set-up, I'd maybe just use 2 on the X61 up top, intaking air and one 140mm in the rear of the case, exhausting air.

Beautiful build. Wish he told you to get the Enthoo Evolv instead. Nonetheless good job on the cable management.

I love it! That gpu is the one I've been trying to get for my build.
I'm prob all just going to get this already built one from my friend instead. It's an Alienware x51 with the i7 and the graphic booster installed. Only thing it could use would be a upgraded ssd
Post up some more pics of the inside when you get the chance

Love the build you decided on, which monitor did you end up going with, I've been looking at upgrading mine recently?

<3 really wanted to help you get this built the other day but time zones and holidays make everything a hassle Glad you got this bad boy built, hope you love it. PS don't be surprised if the sheer beauty of 3440x1440 gets you sweaty, puts my 2560x1080 monitor to shame.
