Majored and minored, in close to the same courses.

Cyber security engineer and minored in ISA(information security analyst).

Those along with the certs I have gotten over the past two years (a+, ccna, sec+, and a few other unix certs) that open a massive job list for me..

Wasn't my first choice, but wasn't my last either so worked out pretty well in the end.

CashPower wrote I am Currently majoring in CIS (computer information system) is this a good major ?

Bite the bullet and major in Computer Science instead.
CIS is a shit degree if we're being honest...

CashPower wrote I was hoping to be something like an IT manager/director.

You could also get this job with a Computer Science degree and even more.
If a CS major and a CIS major applied for an IT position, the CS major would more than likely get hired instead,
CS is really more marketable.
CS might be more rigorous and time consuming, but will get you better jobs and will open more doors than a CIS degree.

I am also considering switching over to a CS degree. Deciding whether I should study medical or computer science.

My networking exam this semester was just the. basics learning to OSI Model and learning how to subnet etc and learning some theory but next semester i will probably learn the bulk of it.

Big ass book that covered the full course. (study guide) roughly 60$ tops at B&N, but was worth it.

not really much i had to study for other than the stuff that i had the most struggle learning.

The test in general is not that bad, only advice i personally have TAKE YOUR TIME.

Keep up with the flash cards if you don't have the time to pick up a copy of the 220-801 a+ guide..
