Your hearing BIOS post failure codes.

On HP computers, a long beep followed by a short beep indicates a memory (RAM) failure.

2 short beeps followed by 1 long beep that continue to beep until powered off indicates a video (GPU) error.

3 short beeps followed by 1 long beep indicates CPU failure.

My motherboard fried (due to lack of care) by messing with it in my room with carpet floors. This led to no BIOS "beep" and after much research (on my phone) I soon learned that a new motherboard is needed. Just keep in mind.
1. Keep PC off carpet 100% of time.
2. Remove all static and make sure all power is out of the supply.
3. Take good precautions, it can mean a lot. Especially with expensive components.
