So I have a quick question, I bought a graphics card and it won't work in my PC, basically I have no signal to a TV, do I have to load the disc that came with the graphics card when I turn the PC on? I know it's a noob question but I know nothing about computers really, can anyone help? The graphics card is a ASUS Strix RX 460

Make sure that you plug the display cord into the graphics card and not another port, that was my first mistake when I upgraded my PC

Try plugging your monitor into the onboard graphics card & see if that works

Make sure your display cable from the monitor is plugged in to your GPU, not the motherboard. Make sure the monitor is on the correct channel. If it's not working with the display cable in the GPU, try your motherboard if you have an iGPU/APU.

Can you give us a list of your parts? It's possible that your GPU isn't getting enough power from your power supply

Update
So basically I'm stuck with a bad graphics card, amazon won't accept a return on it, and ASUS won't give me a return either, this is bullshit, I hate companies, now I'm stuck with a computer that won't even work cause I really don't wanna drop another $120+ on a new graphics card, nor do I have the money to do so right now, anyone know of anything else I can try? It won't even display through the motherboard on board graphics, I don't know what's wrong

If you're not getting a display from the iGPU either, the dGPU isn't your issue which is why you won't get a refund/replacement. You're giving us nowhere near enough info here to be able to help you.
What display cable are you using, what monitor are you using, what happens when you power up the system, any photos of anything that could be useful to help you would be good.
