It was one of the things that he campaigned on, I don't think that anybody will be to surprised about this, and I completely agree.

I agree, I don't think a wall is going to stop cartels making millions a year by sending drugs and people into the U.S. They'll find a way around it, although perhaps it will stop some of the extremely small human trafficking operations that normally result in people being left in the middle of the desert alone. I guess we will have to wait and see (assuming that such a wall can be feasibly finished in only four years).

The only way to stop illegal immigration into the US is to put a dome around the entire country and something below the earth to prevent tunneling. It's not possible. Anybody who voted for Trump solely on the fact that he is building the wall is a complete moron.

Actually very curious as to where you got this information from because i'm pretty sure there's no "extradition to the us all around flight trip" going on. The usual ways they get in the border is via car, tunnel, or from swimming across a river of some usually having barbed wire somewhat near the border

They simply just overstay with their visas. They come here legally for a certain amount of time and just decide to live here.

Overall, the wall is garbage. Won't stop illegal immigration. There are still planes and tunnels. We can't help refugees because "WHAT ABOUT OUR OWN?!?!", but we are going to spend billions on this wall when we can use it to help our own? We are seriously going to start cutting things like art but we are going to build a wall that does nothing? All it would look like is an insult to Mexico.
