You might want to tell her. And also she will know cause when they charge it against her card it will show up on the bill. Your parents will find out one way or another if they watch there banking and credit cards. They get notifications by email or by mail or text if they are set up that way

What if that was your money someone owed you? You'd want it paid back right? There is no such thing as free money, it has to be paid back, and it will be paid back by you.

What can happen? Debt collectors can come in, and they won't just take something that's worth what you owe, they might take your brand new Xbox as it will sell faster for what you owe. In the long run you're out more money. Remember, the collectors need to get paid too, and guess who is paying them? You. Will debt collectors come for $100? I doubt it, but that doesn't mean that it won't follow you. Say you default on an auto loan in 20 years, they'll come after you for that, and oh by the way, remember the $100 you owed 20 years ago? After interest that is now $750 so while we're here, we'll collect on that too.

It's also past that, it will hurt your credit. When you're young you don't think about that stuff as you really don't care. The only time you care is when you get a loan and wander why it's at 30%.

Long story short, pay your debt.
