So I signed into my dad's phone and it didn't send me a email or Verification code or anything? HELP

I set up the 2 step verification code for my Xbox account. And it's suppose to send me an ALERT or verification code. And it don't any one of those.

If you connect via another computer, it'll ask you for a code to login. Unless you've got it setup incorrectly, this is the best I can help I've tried all I can buddy, as long as 2step is on YOU Do not have to WORRY!
