Removing the tracking software or attempting to is a breach of the contract I signed and will be viewed as attempted grand theft, but I'm happy to say I have fixed my problem without harming the OS or the edits they did to the boot sector that allows them higher control than system admin, so I'm still admin, and as long as I make my payments, I'm good, and for 40 bucks every two weeks, that ain't bad, I'm just gonna throw 200 at them every two weeks and be done with all that in a month or two lol

The rental company scrubs the drives because it doesn't want to be liable for anything the previous user put on the drive. They should have let the software finish before they rented the computer out again, though. It's probably easier for them to use software within the OS because they don't have to image the computer every time. Still lazy.

Let the computer run until the software is finished. You can use [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] if you're interested in what's going on with the drive. You will probably see one large file that is being used to over-write the drive.

All i gotta say is screw em.
They have no right to track its whereabouts while being rented.
It would be an invasion of privacy.

Restore it. If they give you crap, bring it back and tell em to screw off for invading your privacy.

Also install a VPN.

They do have rights, you're wrong. Renting is not the same as full ownership and the said renter could just take it on a one time payment and run off.

They have every right for a tracker, now for as far as what the tracker can see maybe to an extent they can **** off for the privacy invasion but basic location no.
