So I made a gmail account back in 2011 with a @comcast.net email. I got an email today that it was "upgraded" to a gmail account, which I did not do. Along with that, I got an email for a new sign-in from France, even though I am in the U.S.
I tried resetting my password but the recovery email has been changed and every other option does not work. I can't seem to find a way to contact google about this, as it has been completely stolen without any access to my comcast email. The "upgrade" email says I can still login with my comcast email, but when I try, it says that account does not exist.
Any help?

Googles account recovery system is shit if you don't use your email often..
If I were OP, would recommend going into a third party email, I.E Protonmail, very well designed and fairly quick, two way security and email encryption.

If you remember when the account was made, Month / date you can receive it that way because of horrible security, or fill out that stupid box with information, and you should also contact support.
