So basically I am banned for a month on a fresh account I have, I have a special gamertag that I really want to keep so could I just do this to get "unbanned"?

1. Switch my GT from my banned account ( GTA V only ) to a new account
2. Add my friends back
3. Play GTA V?

Will it work like that or will I run into problems? I will have to buy another membership of course but other than that I think this will work.

Thoughts?

With no experience, it sounds like it will work.
They banned the account, not the console/IP address

My gamertag is OG, and I want to use it right, so I got banned on the account, can I switch the GT to a fresh XBL account and play on it?

Lol, to switch a used gamertag you go into your profile settings and change it for $9.99.

Then I would quickly claim it on a fresh Xbox Live account..

I'm going to assume you don't play Xbox?

If you are banned for a month it won't let you log into the account or make any purchases on the banned account so therefore it won't work, you have to wait until your ban is lifted. Same thing happened to me before. Just suck it up and with wait it out
