Okay so what I am going to go over in this thread is mainly many questions and answers people ask about jailbreaking their console and some links to give you guys that are reliable and always updated.

Q. Will Jailbreaking my Ps3 Brick it?
A. It depends on the Custom Firmware you are using so make sure its a reliable one that you know for a fact works for instance Geohots.

Q. What all can jailbreaking my Ps3 do?
A. Jailbreaking you Ps3 will allow you to install Homebrew applications and on some Custom Firmwares it will allow you to create Game Backups in case anything happens to the original.

Q.I heard Waninkoko's Custom Firmware has been bricking peoples consoles. Is this true?
A. Yes i regret to inform you but it is very true and certain Fat Models can't be jailbroken using Wanin's Firmware. While all Slim models are at complete random for bricking. Below is a chart to let you know if you can or not. (Taken off of BLITZ's Thread)

Q. Is renting games and creating backups of them so i can play them even after I take them back illegal?
A. It very much is illegal and you could face sever punishments if you do so and are caught.
