That wont make a difference, maybe if they were expensive 2-3k rims but those should be fine

Check with your insurance, but yes, any modification will increase your insurance premium.

that is not true, modifications have nothing to do with your insurance.

i think he is talking about warranty ? not sure though, but putting alloys on your car will not have an effect on your insurance. warranty maybe depending if you do any damage or the alloys cause the damage and you try to get it fixed through insurance/dealer.

Some of it is true, if you turbo or supercharge a vehicle then your insurance will go up. If you add an expensive head unit or sound system the risk goes up and so will insurance, hence expensive wheels will attract more attention and cause it to go up if he decides to inform the insurance company, if you don't and anything gets stolen you're on your own to pay to replace it because you didn't inform your insurance company of it thus them not being liable

My car is turbocharged, has wheels that cost over 2,000 and is lowered on it's nuts and my insurance is only $80/month. all-state, i guess it depends on insurance company? but that just seems very dumb to me.

i can understand this part tho. Thanks for the input GT.

Anytime & it also depends on your insurance plan as well. Tort, comp, uninsured and etc.

yea but does your insurance know about all this?

Generally speaking you should expect to pay more if you tell your insurer about your wheels unless you don't get if they are covered.

Depending on how you modify a car an insurance might not cover you if you have an accident and didn't tell them about a turbo you added.

it's a bumper to bumper warranty, what i have in my car/on does not matter. I think it depends where you are located too.
