Hello people of TTG
I am making this tread today to explain a problem i am having and hopefully find somebody who knows how to fix it.
I am currently trying to connect a VPN, PureVPN to be extract, to my RGH Console. I have gone into Network and sharing centre and shared connections with my xbox and VPN but whenever i hit test connection it passes Network but fails Internet and says Xbox live: Blocked
Any help is much appreciated cos i have been having this problem for a while and would love to get it fixed so i can use a VPN on my console
Hope you all have a wonderful day and happy gaming

Anybody have any ideas/solutions to this issue? Any help is much appreciated as I am fully out of ideas at this point, haha.
It most likely won't be but I am using the Xbox Ethernet cord, would this affect something?
Could it be a setting on my PC stopping the contention between my VPN/Xbox?
Thanks a lot

How are you setting up the vpn? Are you connecting to the internet wireless and then connecting your console through your pc and sharing it?

Run an ethernet cord from your computer to RGH. Share the connection of your VPN and ethernet network adapter.
I would try using OpenVPN rather than PPTP.

Thanks for the reply Suhpose, Yeah that's what i am currently doing so i cant understand why it doesn't work. I have seen many tutorials doing the same thing i am doing but for some reason it doesn't work for me. I don't know if it could be a setting on my PC or something that is stopping it, i am fully out of ideas
Thanks for trying to help me get this fixed

I use Cyber Ghost, all I have to do is click properties on my Cyberghost Connection in my internet settings, go to " Share " make sure it's not checked, then go to my actual internet, share that with my Cyberghost, and VPN is on my console, so can you explain what you've tried?
More Clear of what I do:
Step One: Network and sharing center.
Step Two: Change Adapters settings
Step Three: Find the VPN Network.
Step Four go to your connection, test to see you can share it to " VPN Network "
Step Five: Go back to your VPN network, go to properties click " Share " select your Ethernet that is in your xbox 360, in my case " Ethernet "
Step six: Test your connection again on xbox, also set factory settings.
There's other guides that involve adding IP's to your network connection.
You don't need to do this nor did I i skipped this.
