I'll be taking C and C++ classes during the summer, I was just curious what everyone likes about it.
Honestly I would have taken C#, but they didn't offer it during the summer, so C++ it is.
From the little bit of code I have written in these languages, I like C# because it seems to be more modern and noob friendly.

I always preferred C#, this is what I started with and always loved it. As you stated it lot easier to understand, if you forget a " } " you only get the one error if you do that in C++, it's like playing where waldo trying to find it haha.

I like C# because it's more of a laid back language to where you can just do minimal apps and stuff like that. I use c++ when I want to do a bit more with memory editing.

Only ever used C# and C++, but found C++ easier of the two.

C and C++ are not really comparable to C# other than that you can classify all three as a C-style language.
C# was developed by Microsoft to compete with the Java hype, and they did it well. The two languages each have their own little idiosyncrasies, but are a lot more similar than they are with C and C++.
To answer the title's question though, C will always have a special place in my heart because manually managing memory helped me understand how data structures worked a lot more than implementing them in Java initially. A lot of code is built on top of (or with) C and I think we should appreciate it by dedicating some time to learn the language.
But who cares, right?
