If I'm on xbox one and am playing backwards compatible games, how do i join a user that i am not friends with or have recently played with?

Press the two buttons on your xbox one controller (back and start) to bring up the Xbox 360 guide. Then you can either send a private chat and join their session that way or view recent players from the guide also.
