What will it be used for? Strictly gaming, I'm done with college now so I no longer need a multi-purpose computer. I pre-ordered Destiny 2 that releases in September for the PC, I don't know the requirements or anything about it just yet so I want it to play that well, as well as Ghost Recon Wildlands that is out now. I haven't looked far ahead into the upcoming games; I just a system that will be ready and can handle it for a few years down the line. No preferred aesthetic either lol.

Honestly there's quite a bit of stuff on there not really needed, but if you want to spend the money on it all...

As an example, the 1080 itself would last you for years, the ti version of it will just slaughter any game for years, but I have a feeling that you know a bit of this.

Congrats on getting the new PC whenever you get one, make sure you play a really demanding game like maxed Crysis 3 or something. Best of luck.

I just want to say, you don't need a lot of this stuff in your build, this is just ORIGIN's way to price gouge you further.

I'll touch base on a few things that is wrong with what they're selling:

- They're throwing in a 1000W PSU, which you won't be needing for this build. Not even in my build am I needing 1000W, 750W is more than enough to overclock both my CPU and GPU no problem. This is my exact build as of now:

1000W is just overkill and ORIGIN putting something in you don't need.

- They're charging you for their "professional overclocking" when you can save money and do it yourself, plus with doing it yourself you learn about how to tweak thing to further suite your build instead of relying on a company to do it for you and not knowing what to do when you need to fix or change something.

- Seems like they're charging you for HDD cages and optical drive bays? It might just be their wording but it looks like you will be charged for something that is included with a case by default.

- They're price gouging you for an OS. I'm willing to bet they're trying to charge you $100+ for an OS when you can get it for $30 or so off of G2A or Kinguin or even take a look on Reddit at /r/microsoftsoftwareswap/ and get yourself an OS for cheaper.

- Not sure if they're charging you for cloud software on the PC but that's not something you asked for, hell even the antivirus isn't something you asked for; it's a good idea but you'll save money buying antivirus on your own terms.

- They did not list any sort of storage. So you may be spending this type of money and be having a 1-2 TB HDD when you should be having an SSD in there and an HDD for other storage.

- They slapped in a 1080p monitor with a 1080TI; 13 already covered this, even a 1070 is ridiculous for 1080p.

I noticed you mentioned earlier you're willing to spend 3-4k for your build; you don't need to spend that type of money for a "high end gaming PC." Something such as $1,300 would easily be considered high end gaming. Yes, you can look at my build and ask why I spent over 4k on mine (really was around 5k when I purchased everything back in 2016) but that's because I play on 4k resolution and even then, once the 1080 TI STRIX is back in stock, I'm replacing my 1070's with it. If you're planning to play on 1080p, you honestly don't need to spend 3-4k, you can easily save yourself a lot of money and still have hardware to last you for years. I'll give you an example using the 1070. If I was sticking to 1080p on a 1070 card, I am willing to bet I would not have to upgrade that card for at least 5-7 years. However I am on 4k so I will need to upgrade until we get that GPU that is right in the sweet spot which the 1080 TI is a fantastic start, not quite there but a fantastic start. I believe Volta is going to be the true show for 4k stable 60+ FPS. I really have no problem spending money freely like I do, but even I wouldn't buy a prebuilt PC like what ORIGIN is trying to sell you.
