Skates wroteDepends where. In the UK, you must be accompanied by a passenger who is 21 or over and has had a driving license for the last 3 years.Mlkey wrote get banned for ever lol u need a full driving licence to drive
you can only drive if u have someone with u that has had the licence for 3 years, and u need L plates on the car also
You don't need someone in the car with you for a provisional license.

DutyManager wrote If your car is insured for a full drivers license but you only have a provisional license, what would happen if you were caught driving or pass a camera?
If you only have a provisional licence, then you can still drive along as there is a person aged 21 or older and have held a licence for 3 or more years. You must also display L plates that must be clearly visible.

Yes you do. Driving without anybody at the side of you on a provisional lisence can end with a really long ban and a fine. If you're caught more three times. You're more than likely getting a suspended sentence.
It's against the law in the uk to drive without a full lisence holder besides a provisional lisence driver.

As long as you're licensed it won't affect your insurance. If you have the provisional though you need a licensed adult 21+ with you. Don't worry about the cameras just don't get pulled over driving on a provisional by yourself because they can take your license away until you're older.
Trust me it's a hassle.
Hope this answers your question.
