Yeah I am. I've been testing different things throughout the day.

Disguise wrote This is basically a race between one really good computer specialist and someone who's only ever used one for the basic functions it can provide. And it's how it's always been. It's not a wizard contest, it's just a contest to see who's the best at being able to pull random information out of seemingly random things to the naked eye, which programmers are amazing at doing.
To be fair, I did designed this contest to be especially difficult. The Wizard badge is one of the rarest badges on the site, and it's one that generally requires real effort, not just a presence in the community. In this case, it will require a great amount of research to complete the objectives. That said, none of the objectives are terribly difficult, they are generally the most simple form possible one you find out what needs to be done. Finding out what needs to be done is the hard part, though. That's where the hints come in.
It is true that people with a background in computer science will have an easier time in this contest than those without. But it is not uncommon for the contests to be won by people without much experience.
In this case, I expect the contest to take around a week or so. I'll be dropping hints along the way for everyone who is stuck.
Such as this one:
You'll notice that the web server and VPC are on separate networks. Perhaps there's some sort of networking tool available to see how we get from one network to the other!

Reporting in that I've found one key.
This hint would've saved me some time!
