I want to put some spacers on my truck to bring my wheels out but I always hear mixed reviews about spacers that they're dangerous etc. Was wondering if anyone here has some.

I have trouble going through the chickfila drive through in a ford 4x4 because it is so narrow around the turn pulling up to the window and putting spacers on my truck would make it harder to get around that turn without running into a curb and messing up my tires so I would never put spacer on the truck for the sake of chickfila

I have a 6inch lift on my truck with 2inch spacers. I have to say I absolutely love them. Had the spacers since I got the truck. There is pros and cons to them but its all personal things

Well this is what happens when spacers break lol.
45 MPH down the road no warning no nothing, just wheel goes flying.
As far as wear and tear, it pushes the tire out more so there will be more wear on ball joints, ti rods, CV axles (if IFS), etc. Same thing with running wheels that have a huge negative offset. The only difference is you're hoping this spacer doesn't brake like what happened to me. You know how people are ragging on Ford for making their trucks out of aluminum? Guess what, that's what your spacer is made out of. Don't put people in danger, if you want your tire to stick out more then buy the right wheels.

Yeah they're pretty dangerous if they're either cheap quality or not fitted properly.
