I was contemplating for weeks trying to decide whether to have one. I used to have a jtag back in the day I bought that one off from TTG. Then I heard they got them back online and I just wanted what they call "RGH". And so I did research found out what I could about them I mean I didn't know too awful much about RGH's and I thought back when I had a jtag I had issues with it didn't know how to fix it so I got mad and threw it out when I was younger. And I'm like you know what I'll RGH it myself $42 later for the j runner and cool runner rev c for RGH 1.2 went out got solder iron flux and solder. Sat down read the diagrams and started piecing it together. I was always told growing up when you do things yourself not only do you learn ten million times more but you feel good about doing stuff yourself. So my advice to you new members of the modding world do it yourself you'll learn how to troubleshoot and you'll actually know what your talking about. Nothing is better then learning hands on for me to buy one now is like taking a teachers copy of the test and doing it for me. Some people may can't do it themselves and that's not an issue but if you want my suggestion try this route and see where it takes you if you screw jt up you learn from it

Dude it was my first ever attempt only thing I have ever did with soldering in my life was replace a DVD drive on an Xbox and that was just desoldering a wife and changing it very easy but this is a whole other level thanks man I had some moments where I'd get mad and I'd walk away for an hour come back best thing to do is walk away or you'll just screw up
