Lye wrote If you did the cartoon on PSD using the pen tool this is great! Was always terrible at cartooning manually lol
You should never use Photoshop for a vector cartoon like this. Always use illustrator for any kind of cartoon-like work, any text, any logos.

GingeArts wrote@GingeArts I'm just wondering why illustrator would be the better option? Does it have to do with ani alias because I think I've seen a youtube video how illustrator is good for it. I guess I'll take a look i to it lol. I hope is has layers because I'm allllll about keeping things layed and organised.Lye wrote If you did the cartoon on PSD using the pen tool this is great! Thaaaaaaank You All!! Like seriously. It means a lot to me that all of you think my art is attractive. The years I've been on TTG I never would've thought that someone would rate my work 10/10 O_O
I'll post my first edit when I get on my pc. If anyone has any tips or please let me know. Hope you all have a great /night!

Meh, I mean AI probably look a little better but its not always necessary. AI is a lot more complicated and I can fly through designs like this in Photoshop. For work thats just for fun its fine. Id only say AI is completely necessary if youre doing professional work for a client.

TTGxGANGSTA wroteIllustrator is almost the same as Photoshop when you are comparing the layout so yeah, there is layers, and I would recommend illustrator for this unless you don't want to pay 10$ a month for it but it's really worth it.GingeArts wrote@GingeArts I'm just wondering why illustrator would be the better option? Savitar wroteI spent last night and a little of this morning on it and its honestly really confusing even though some of the short cut keys are the same lol. I cant use the brush tool for some reason when im done using the pen tool and i dont really understand that. It lets me use it when im i just opened up a fresh tab but besides that once i use another tool it messes up. Same thing for the gradient tool and spme of the other ones i tried to mess with. I guess I'm really gonna have to watch a ton of TUTs to understand it lol. Its worth it though because I can see that sharpnessTTGxGANGSTA wroteIllustrator is almost the same as Photoshop when you are comparing the layout so yeah, there is layers, and I would recommend illustrator for this unless you don't want to pay 10$ a month for it but it's really worth it.GingeArts wrote@GingeArts I'm just wondering why illustrator would be the better option?
