Upgraded to 144Hz a couple months ago, after having it for a while I'm looking to move away from it.
Am looking to buy a 34" Ultrawide, ive just a couple questions, for anyone who has an ultrawide.
I'm torn between getting 2560x1080 or 3440x1440 for the 34"
Do i get a 2560x1080 60Hz (LG 34UM68) Panel for the least amount of money, or spend a little more and get either:
3440x1440 60Hz (LG 34UM88C)
2560x1080 144Hz (LG 34UC79G)
Ive been playing a few games recently such as Witcher 3 at 60Hz since my 980ti can't push it at 144 fully, so i don't think going back to 60Hz will be a problem
My main concern is how 2560x1080 will look on a 34" panel? Its the preferred option due to price.
Appreciate the help.

I would always go for the better option which would be the higher quality monitor if it's within your budget. Although either would do the job nicely. At least you know if you get the better one you won't have to upgrade any time soon.
