Hey Everyone!

So I own a VW Jetta MK6, and I'm tired of it being so high up and was hoping for the best way to get more low..

Bags are wayyy to expensive and I am not too aware of anything else.

I was told that spacers are dope, but I have no idea what that is.

Spacers don't make your car lower, they make your wheels poke further out. But to be honest they come with more negatives than positives.

As for lowering your car, you should start of by studying a bit first since your seem a little clueless. But as a cheap option lowering springs would do the trick.

Bags won't lower your car unless you're on a 100% airbag suspension.

What you're looking for is lowering coil overs, or even just going Haggard garage style and cutting your coils.

this. Although, personally I'd never lower my car with the road conditions around me.

Coilovers but if you have a steep driveway or shitty roads it won't work. Coilovers are a few hundred bags are 7-1200 and then another grand after installation. I'd recommend bags.

Coilovers are the way to go if you don't wanna spend more than $1,500. If you have a steep driveway, get the bumper quick release to avoid dragging your bumper across the pavement nose first.

I have TEIN lowering springs on my 2004 Acura TL on stock struts, they run just fine and I've had them on for over 5,000 miles. They're the cheap way to lower your car but the difference is that they have until a certain drop.

With coilovers, you can set the car to as low as you want and change it whenever you feel like you're too low or you want to go lower.

Air suspension is a LOT better than coilovers since it's just the push of a button and your car is either at drive height or SLAMMED AF.

It's really all up to you and how much your budget is at. I wouldn't recommend cutting the springs yourself, I've seen cars over here with their springs cut and whenever there's a slight bump, they look like they're doing the worm.

hahahahah

Thank you all for the recommendations. I will do some more studying on this subject and then figure out where to go from there. I live in North Dakota and the road conditions in the summer are beuatiful. N.D. is very straight, not mountains, or even hills .

Thanks You All
