Yes there will be. You will have to file a claim through PayPal. But be careful, if you send through friends and family, there's a possibility you won't get your money back. I learned my lesson, and now I'm going through a huge claim through PayPal and my bank. So just be careful bud, PM me if you need anything.

Don't pay through friends and family, only goods and service or have him bill you an invoice. If he refuses, he's most likely gonna scam.

So it takes time? Does the scammer get away with it and keep the money?

It's not worth the time or effort going through your bank and opening up a case, it can take up to 3 months just to get your money back.

As he mentioned, it's a lengthy process. If they're so determined for you to send as friends and family, it's more likely a scam.

I'd just like to throw my 2 cents in. Just buy from someone reputable and don't worry about all that other stuff. There are as many buyers trying to scam as there are sellers, I've had two people charge back one for $75 and one for $125. So don't be surprised if a seller requests friends and family as an added layer of protection for them selves because honestly if you buy from a legit seller than its the seller who needs to protect themselves. If it's someone who isn't trusted just don't buy and save everyone the hassle
