It's already causing controversy. It was on the news this morning.

You can use ghost mode to hide your location; but still, a naive 12/13 year old wouldn't think twice about keeping their location turned off.

I give it no less than 24 more hours until a child is kidnapped, raped or murdered.

This shouldn't be a thing & if it was, you should be able to have the option to show your Location before you send a snap.

but they could have thought about it some more before making it public.. If I was to do it, like I said, I'd make it a personal option on every snap you take, once you snap the picture should have a icon / button to show location for that snap and that snap only.

Just turn your location services off on snapchat in your settings and you'll be good to go.

It should be down to the parents to make sure that children aren't using the feature/app as It is a danger to the younger audicence with how precise it is.

I completely agree this is a bit sketchy, although its a cool feature this could be very dangerous

All Snapchat does is drain your battery, I know let's add more features! Smart move.
