They don't even compare. R8 is the top Audi you can buy and the i8 is one of the worst BMWs you can buy.

Out of them the m5 hands down, but I'm just talking the r8 and i8 as I've seen them pretty regularly where I live, for me it'd be the r8 for both looks and performance.
