I'm sure you're all aware of Horozion, if not you can use it to increase your GS in small numbers.
my question is, if I increased my gamerscore by about 5000, and then plugged in my xbox one, would the 5000 gamerscore carry over on me xbox one or would it only be increased on my xbox 360?

Put it onto a 360 first then download it on your xbox one then yes it'll carry over.

so you're saying, plug in my xbox 360, use horizon to increase my GS while on my xbox 360, save the changes I've made and then load up the same profile on Xbox One?

Yes, that should work. I'd be careful, only do small amounts at a time and not 50k+

I only plan on getting about 5k, then I'll have 25k. I also won't be using online achievements I won't be doing more then 500 GS at a time or adding games I haven't played. I should be fine..

I personally wouldn't risk it on my main account because Microsoft is so strict about everything now, although you should be fine

Play avatar the burning earth on the Xbox 360 takes 5 mins to get 1000 legit, besides if you mod your gamer score you will regret it.
