Looks as though the Mexican government has been spying on the Civil rights activists and members of the opposing party who where investigating corruption in the Mexican governent. The spyware that targeted their phones, allowed people to remotly turn on the mic and listen remotely to any sound that the phone could pick up in the surrounding area.
It was sent by text and documents show that it was sold exclusively to the Mexican government.

They are spying on them, could just as easy be spying on the mexican population. Just another example of an currupt government. No wonder they didint want these people investigating them
