I am considering on upgrading my gpu to a GTX 1050ti. The card I had before was an MSI GTX 750ti LP 2GB and I figured that I might need to upgrade as I can only really run older/light modern games. The GTX 1050ti that I'm looking at is also made by MSI but is larger and also has larger fans (which should hopefully be quieter). Instead of the GTX 750ti's 2gb of vram the MSI GTX 1050ti has 4gb of vram.

My question is: There are two sizes of cards the single fan and double fan will the double fan model be louder or quieter than the single fan model?

Thank you for taking time to read this.

Better cooling and thus typically less noise as the fans can run slower. If those things are not a big deal to you than the single fan gpu should still work fine especially since the 1050 is a fairly low power gpu and shouldn't put off a lot of heat. If it were me I would only buy a single fan gpu if my case were too small for the other, as noise and temps are very important to me and I like to have the best cooling possible. My 390 was fairly hot and loud, so I liquid cooled it. Like I said though, it is mostly down to preference.
