Hey everyone, so basically I got this other monitor from a friend it's a VGA monitor nothing to special. I already have my first monitor plugged in through my GPU (which only offers 1 DVI slots) so I was forced to plug the vga cable into the motherboard. After doing so I try to turn on the monitor but it says no signal. I go to my windows settings but it says that no other monitors were detected.

Im using windows 10
I have a GTX 980 Ti

you're 980ti only offers one DVI slot ? What monitors are you using? also your motherboard may/may not support on board graphics (which is what your VGA port would need). So i would check in your BIOS to see if you can utilise both the on-board graphics and your GPU.
