Hey guys, I'm experimenting with some GFX and I keep coming across the problem where my file size is too large for the design that I've made. I barely have anything on the design itself in my photoshop project but its still coming out to over 100KB. Can anyone give me some pointers as to how I can avoid this from happening in the future? I'm currently using a 200x200 template in Photoshop CC.

Don't forget that size you are looking at is an uncompressed photoshop project file size. If you save it as .png and then look at the file size it will be way under 100kb.

Like he said, you are saving it as a psd so next time you open it with photoshop you would able to edit it. Save it as either a jpeg or png.

For TTG avatars that for some reason require >100kb for some reason in 2017, I usually just save them as jpg and drag the quality down until it's below 100kb. It's so small anyways so you won't see any difference.

Like the one I have on currently, I think I dragged the quality down a few steps. Still, it doesn't really look low quality to be honest.
