Alright, im using chaotic 360 and I cant do a remote recovery.
I am doing the following:
logging in to a xbox live account
staying on the main menu
spoofing the xuid
signing out
signing in
and trying to click xbox live

its saying "You have joined this session illegally"
my plugins go as the following:
xbdm.xex
ninja.xex
JRPC2.xex
BO2Spoofer.xex
XRPC.xex

what stealth are you using? I know when I used XBLBallin it refused to work

Do you get that error when you click xbox live from the main menu or are you trying to join a public match? Also make sure they are signed out

Are you using the Gamertag Changer? Whenever I used that (while spoofing to my own account), it used to give me that "You have joined this session illegally" error.

try and spoof from the Dashboard as that's how the plugin works, once you spoof it on the dashboard Launch the game.

If that doesn't work, I've not got a clue..

- Other might be that your plugin slot is dead aka the plugin will not work in the slot you have, try swapping them around

Example: say it's in Slot 5, move it to 4, if it's in 4 move to 3 and so on.

This may be the issue here, try plugin 3 or 5
