I'd recommend Paid In Full or A Bronx Tale for gangster films and Freedom Writer's for an eye-opener IMO

Any Christopher Nolan movie, ever. The only directors I ever look out for, absolutely love the guy. Hans Zimmer and him are the dynamic duo of film making.

I will tell you this now mate, the acting in the film isn't the greatest by it's by far my favourite Psychological horror film
