I've been trying to use my controller for pc games for a while now but it never turns on when I plug it into my pc. Currently running on windows 10.

Also I couldn't find any videos that were semi helpful to my problem, mine seems to be different

I've tried this the thing is my windows does not update and I don't have the right drivers and I can't find out how to manually install a certain driver.

You got the adapter from Micro$oft or you using the Bluetooth with dongle?

This may sounds stupid but have you tried a different USB port than what you have been using?

I've had this very problem. For me the fix was the wire - I had to get a wire that could transfer data not just output power as a lot of ones i had that fitted my controller wouldn't work.

Do you know what kind of wire this was? This might be the problem.
