Ethereum wrote Its your PSU its cheap and craptastic... I even googled it to see the price and the first thing that comes up saying "the crappiest PSU's" I would recommend CORSAIR's they are the best for gaming (in my opinion)

??????? lmfao what? As long as the PSU isn't some shit quality and the rest of your hardware isn't taking more of a power draw than your wattage on the PSU is rated for, your PSU is all set to go for any task. There is no "best PSU for gaming," if your PSU doesn't shit out at all and runs all your hardware like it should, then congrats, your PSU is working like it should to power your system on and keep it running for whatever tasks you throw at it; which makes your PSU reliable, not "best for gaming." If that was the case, PSUs would start seeing some stupid inflated pricing because now there would be PSUs, Gaming PSUs, Editing PSUs, ect.

OP: Any PSU will work, the problem you're going to face is knowing how much wattage your current system is pulling as well as the exact case you have. The reason your case matters, is because if your motherboard standoffs are a little lower, then something such as the ATX12V 8-pin connector may not reach your motherboard, in which case you'll have to buy an extender.

PSU is definitely the issue since its absolute trash. Don't even power that system on again with that PSU. Most PSUs will work, not all. That said, you'll want to buy a good quality unit instead of another shitty PSU.

I mean the PSU has worked for around 2 years with just browsing the web and doing school work, just not games. I have my GTX 610 back in it so it doesn't need roughly any power till I pick up a new PSU
