Will there be any difference if my PC doesn't meet all of the Elgato requirements ?

What will it affect ?

If your pc doesn't meet all the requirements turn the settings and you'll be able to run it fine. The only problem with not meeting the requirements is your audio will lag on the export or it'll try to export a file in 49 fps.

If you have a really below average computer you won't be able to record past 720
You won't be able to have a webcam or live stream
You won't be able to use flashback recording
Your recordings will be really laggy if you try to run at 60fps/1080p

Yeah my PC meets almost all the requirements just that I have an i5-2xxx instead of the required i5-4xxx so that's about the only thing.

Ignore them. Requirements are horse shit and should only be used as a very vague reference. Your i5 will handle it to problem.

You should have no problem recording from the Elgato. Unless your disk drive is really slow, you will be fine. The recommended requirements are there for streaming purposes really as that is what put's a load on the CPU. The device itself should do most of the work, the software merely wraps it into a MP4 file and put it in a location of your choice.
