theres so much stuff about 115 it would take you days to read it all, but alot of it is about UFO's Gravity and Anti-matter
Alot of people say(ufo websites) Element 115 was given to the Americans by alien visitors. And originally came from a star system known as Reticulum.

not sure if that last bit is true or not lol

during the 1980's Bob Lazar described how Element 115 (later named Ununpentium)
was used as part of an "anti-gravity engine." Then in 2004 or so some scientists officially "discovered"
Element 115.

115 is an electic element which powers the wonderwaff yes and gives the dogs the power to spawn yes the zombies idk ... But all I know is that the element 115 is unstable and the Germans found away to stabalize it and made the wonderwaff ... And were planing on mass producing it (says walkie talkie in back of tunnle in teleporter C) but never happens I forgot what the rest of the walkie talkie says if you listen to it it talks about the wonderwaff

Ununpentium (Element 115)is artificially produced in reactors. It’s not a natural element.

The Element came from Russia but not an explosion from a meteor. It is a synthetic element.

2 good links the first one saying element 115 was Discovered in 2004 so this is why i ask why did treyarch use it in Zombies
the only thing a can think of is while looking up ideas they came across UFO websites and took Element 115 from there

Check these 2 links

the first link has things todo with Bob Lazar, Area 51, S4, alians UFO's

the 2nd link can be found at the bottom of the 1st link just click on The Reactor which then goes on to talk about Element 115
