What ever happened to being a consistently outstanding member to warrant badges?

Members should never really ask for a badge that is given out by the discretion of staff. I view this topic the same as someone saying "I deserve the awesome badge because I've done THIS list of awesome things recently."

For the Idea Guy badge, if you ARE going to ask because you think we missed it, please PM an admin and they will look into it. Do not make a forum post. Members' opinions won't necessarily help.

There used to be a topic created by Elijah that said "one idea being successfully implemented does not necessarily warrant the badge". It since had been moved because of the v5 update to the forums, so I admit you had no way of knowing that. I will see if I can update that sticky with a few other things as well.

Sorry to be the no fun police!

P.S. I had 8 ideas successfully implemented before I obtained the badge.
