In that price range most vehicles you look at will have problems either current or soon down the road. Just get on your local classified ads and look for something in your price range that you like the look of and take it for a test drive.

The insurance isn't bad on them, and because they're so common parts aren't hard to come by. They're pretty cheap too. Ideal first cars.

Personally for my first car I would buy a Renault Twingo, they are small and cheap and if you damaged it you wouldn't really care.

I know they don't look good but hey! It's a first car lmao
