The guy being shot dead in his home is obviously weird, but I'm not so sure the car crash has much to do with anything.

Think of it like this, there were 22,000 people at the concert. If you take a random sample of 22,000 people and watch their lives closely at least a couple of them are likely to die some time after you start watching them. Probably quite quickly after you start watching them given the size of the sample.

I'm not saying it wasn't a conspiracy, but the car crash seems to be an eventuality of watching that many people, rather than an anomaly.

The part where it says it took nearly an hour to put out the car fire is extremely suspect. Car fires are easily containable and easily knocked down.
