This thread is not self advertisement.

I would require some general advice for creating a website / developing a website. Any help would be appreciated. Okay - so here are the details:

The website is based upon a radio station (not pirated). We would like a website where you can listen live, get news, win prizes and view photos / videos etc.

Would we better using a website builder online and add all the fundamentals we would like, or build a website using HTML, CSS and JavaScript?

Example:

Another radio station website. This image is to show you exactly what I mean.

Anyone who has experience in site building would be appreciated a lot if they helped me out here.

Thank you.

I mean, it depends how complex you want it, but what you need for the majority of your ideas is a CMS (Content Managment System), this is the best way to post latest news, host contests and just add pretty much whatever you want. But to acheieve what you're looking for will require some big modifications to suit your exact needs.

If you get someone to set it up for you, it is not going to be cheap, unless you do it yourself.

Whatever you do, focus the majority of your attention on the mobile version of your website.
In the age of twitter and social media, that is where the overwhelming majority of your traffic is going to come from.
