I Just started doing GFX for a personal hobby about two days ago, I use Paint.NET since it is pretty simple to learn everything on, I do plan on upgrading to Photoshop when I get familiar with doing designs. I'd like it if people would tell me which is better, or which one i'm better at, so I can practice designs of that nature and hopefully perfect them.

Well I don't know anything about GFX but none of them look "bad" I just wouldn't consider them good enough for use yet.

Personally, I'd get you on Photoshop as soon as possible. It may be overwhelming to wrap your head around but it'll benefit you so much more in the long run, bud. But if you don't want to do that, it's okay. I can see clear improvements in your work from day one to now but you still have a long way to go.
The best way I can personally recommend you get better is to work on a big project. For example, fully revamp your Twitter or TTG account. Work on larger projects that take time because you develop your skills in them. In the mean time, I know at the top of this forum is a bunch of great tutorials that you could check out. I went into graphic design trying to learn everything myself and kicked myself for it. Don't be afraid of asking other designers for help
Also, if you need to get photoshop and don't want to pay for it, I can help you get it if you don't know how. Hit me up on Twitter - [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Slightly, I wouldn't call them MAJOR improvements but I can see it a little.
I said a good bit in the first logo post, that should be enough to get you started in that area; as for normal design, just take on things that seem more challenging and incorporate your own little flux or style into it. Photoshop will really help you out, same tools, but you have better options.
Illustrator is also good if you are into logos only really. (explained this the first topic)

Yeah, I appreciate all the feedback, and everyone is telling me to just go get Photoshop, so I'll probably do that. I really only do logos, and avatars and what not, so I might look into illustrator. I just don't have much money as of right now, so it might have to wait depending on how much they are.

You can obtain access to the entire Adobe collection and mobile applications for $49.99 a month via the Adobe website, and it's $19.99 a month for access to a single application. I encourage you to become more comfortable with the rules of Graphic Design before moving onto something more sophisticated. Paint.net is where I started out years ago, and I slowly moved into trying other programs as I became more comfortable and skilled. Continue to do what you're doing however, as we're all here to help.

You can get Photoshop and Illustrator for free, although I would recommend paying for such useful software. There are alternatives to Photoshop such as Gimp. Gimp is 100% FREE but just not as useful as Photoshop imo.
